| Storage for 360 cases of fine wine in a private home. Construction involved structural additions under the room. The cases are Hondurous Mahogany with a clear finish, set on Cobalt Blue Ceramic Tile. Ventilation and cooling were accomplished by utilizing convection flow. (Note the mahagony grates in the floor and ceiling. Warm air rises into the attic, then out the attic vents to be replaced by air from under the house.) The wine remains at 51 degrees year round without any mechanical equipment. |
